CAIR-Chicago Takes Part in the Governor’s Racial Profiling Taskforce’s Data Evaluation Subcommittee

CAIR-Chicago’s Governmental Relations Coordinator Sadiya Ahmed participated in the data evaluation subcommittee for the Governor’s Racial Profiling Taskforce. The group’s task is look at data that is collected during traffic stops and make any changes to the required data and present it to the taskforce, which will in turn make recommendations to the Governor on the issue of racial profiling.

The subcommittee reviewed proposals made to change current data collection. It will meet soon to finalize the details of the proposals.
