CAIR-Chicago’s Governmental Relations Department has been conducting an active Get Out the Vote Campaign. As a part of a large and historic political mobilization effort, volunteers have been calling Muslim registered voters in the 3rd congressional district, which has one of the most hotly contested races. On Thursday, March 16, volunteers met at the CAIR-Chicago office and called people from 6-9 PM. In the last week, CAIR-Chicago volunteers have contacted close to 800 registered voters.

In addition to phone banking, CAIR-Chicago will be knocking on doors in the 3rd congressional district on Election Day to mobilize voters to cast their ballots. All interested individuals should contact Governmental Relations Coordinator Sadiya Ahmed at gov.relations@cairchicago.org.
