CAIR-Chicago Civil Rights Coordinator Christina Abraham attended the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Legal Aid Committee Meeting. The meeting consisted of representatives from many of Chicago’s legal aid organizations, where they discussed the new pro bono reporting law, and how it can be used to increase pro bono work for legal aid organizations. The meeting was held at the Chicago Bar Foundation office.

The Chicago Bar Foundation and the Chicago Bar Association are sponsoring the “2006 CBA/CBF Pro Bono Week: Challenging Lawyers to Make a Difference.” The week will be filled with activities to encourage lawyers and law students to engage more in pro bono work.
