Finalizing Plans for an Upcoming Civil Rights Event

CAIR-Chicago’s Civil Rights Department is finalizing plans for an upcoming event that is being co-sponsored by the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs (JCUA) and the National Lawyers Guild (NLG).

The event is a panel discussion on the topics of Police Misconduct, Citizenship Delay, and the War on Terror in the Courts. It will provide an educational forum for community members, students, and professionals to learn more about these pertinent issues affecting our society.

Civil Rights Intern Samina Sulemanjee is in the midst of confirming the speakers, date and location for the event, along with her colleagues from the JCUA and NLG.

CAIR-Chicago will post the details of our upcoming event as soon as it is available.
