CAIR-Chicago Represents Muslim Man in Federal Court

CAIR-Chicago Attorney Heena Musabji represented a Muslim man in federal court who applied for citizenship over five years ago. He has been waiting for more than four years for his naturalization ceremony since passing his citizenship interview.

This hearing was the third status hearing. The government asked for an additional week to resolve this matter. The judge granted the government a final continuance, until December 13th, to resolve the case.

CAIR Chicago continues to represent Muslims facing delays in obtaining their citizenship.
