CAIR-Chicago Attorney Represents Client in Status Hearing for Citizenship Delay
CAIR-Chicago Staff Attorney Heena Musabji represented a client in a status hearing for a citizenship delay.
The client has been waiting since 2004 to receive citizenship, after he had successfully completed his examination.
Attorneys for the government stated that his case could be resolved within 60 days, and the Judge hearing the case agreed to allow the government extra time to resolve the matter.
CAIR-Chicago will continue to represent this and other clients experiencing delays in obtaining their citizenship.
