CAIR-Chicago Attorney Represents Citizenship Delay Client in Status Hearing

CAIR-Chicago Attorney Bitta Mostoffi represented a man in a status hearing regarding his citizenship delay. The man has been waiting for his citizenship since 2004 and his application has been pending a background check. The court decided to allow the government 30 days for USCIS to progress the man’s application before the court sets a date for trial. CAIR-Chicago will continue representing the man on his citizenship delay issue.
