CAIR-Chicago Represents Citizenship Delay Client at Status Hearing
CAIR-Chicago Staff Attorney Bitta Mostofi represented a man experiencing a citizenship delay at a status hearing in federal court. A complaint was filed on behalf of the man three years after he had successfully passed the interview for citizenship. During the status hearing, Mostofi agreed to allow the government 60 days to try to settle with the client by adjudicating his application and granting him citizenship.
CAIR-Chicago will continue to represent individuals experiencing unnecessary delays in obtaining citizenship.
