CAIR-Chicago Muslim Youth Leadership Symposium Visits Universal High School
On September 26, 2007, CAIR-Chicago visited Universal High School in Bridgeview to host workshops from its Muslim Youth Leadership Symposium (MYLS). CAIR-Chicago’s executive director Ahmed Rehab and CAIR-National’s development director Yaser Tabbara discussed many topics including value-based activism, taking on active roles in the community, and developing positive identities as young American Muslims. Over 180 students attended and were excited to learn and participate in the MYLS workshops.
