CAIR-Chicago Joins “Unity in Diversity Day” at Morton Grove

Morton Grove Community Relations Commission will be hosting its “Unity in Our Diversity Day” program this October 14th, 2007. The program will include a panel discussion including Dave Smith, Principal at Whitwell Middle School in Tennessee, who co-directed the school’s Holocaust education project and Sue Mangino, a Niles Township resident and Department of Special Education Board Member.

The schedule for the day will include:

12:30 – 1:00 pm: Gathering
1:00 – 2:30 pm: Introduction and Speakers
David Smith – Vice Principal of Whitwell Middle School, TN
Ahmed Rehab – Director of CAIR, Chicago Chapter
Sue Mangino – Area resident & NTDSE (Niles Township Department of Special Education) Board Member
2:30 – 3:00 pm: Break for Refreshments
3:00 – 4:00 pm: Question and Answer Session
