CAIR-Chicago Staff Attorney Tricia Kemling attended a status hearing on behalf of a Muslim man who filed a complaint for discrimination. The man was terminated from a trucking company after having worked with them for eight years.

The man states that his supervisor had been harassing him during the year prior to his termination. After filing a charge of discrimination on behalf of the man with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), CAIR-Chicago filed a complaint in federal district court for discrimination.

CAIR-Chicago will continue to represent the man in his employment discrimination case and seek a just and positive resolution.
