Join CAIR-Chicago at the Charitable “March for Babies”
CAIR-Chicago has teamed up with the Muslim Womens’ Alliance and the Inner-city Muslim Action Network (IMAN) to participate in the 2009 March for Babies walk.
The event helps bring awareness to infants born prematurely and to infant mortality and raises money for programs that ensure mothers have healthy, full-term pregnancies.
CAIR-Chicago’s participation is a part of the annual summer-long “Muslims Care” campaign, which is designed to encourage volunteerism in the American Muslim community.
Gerald Hankerson, CAIR-Chicago’s Outreach Coordinator, will be a team captain.
