sun timesIn response to Sun-Times article: “Brits give Obama blueprint on torture”

Dear Sun-Times,
I would like to thank you and Christopher Hitchens for the editorial “Brits give Obama blueprint on torture.” Many people like to argue that torture is necessary (and therefore justified) when there is a major war involved and several lives are at stake. The non-violent interrogation methods used by Col. Robin Stephens during World War II prove to those people that alternative measures can be just as effective while maintaining our moral principles.
