Filmmakers From West Bank and State Dept. Officials to Visit CAIR-Chicago

What: Film Makers from the West Bank and State Department officials will visit the CAIR-Chicago office this upcoming Saturday and Monday. The 3-man news team from Palestine is working on a State Department-supported project titled “Muslim Life in America.” The film makers will produce a series of documentaries on topics related to the daily lives of Muslim-Americans, including their role as active participants in civil society and their contributions to American society overall. The documentaries will highlight aspects of the Muslim-American community, including their equal and full exercise of guaranteed civil rights and their full protection under the law to practice their religion freely.
