The N.Y. Mosque-My husband was the Director of a Christian Church Mission that started new churches for 20 years. Many times a new church was NOT ALLOWED to build where we wanted to.Usually it was because of the objections of the area people. They didn’t want the traffic of cars coming and going through their neighborhood.Or they thought it would be too noisy etc.etc. Sometimes the community was hoping to attract a business that would pay taxes and didn’t want the property used up with a nonprofit building. So we would pray and search for a different place. Why can’t the Moslims also be considerate and do the same?
