CAIR-Chicago’s Directors Attend IQRA Fundraising Dinner

CAIR-Chicago representatives attended IQRA International Educational Foundation’s fundraising dinner at Drury Lane on Saturday, October 29 to support its educational initiatives.

Ahmed Rehab, CAIR-Chicago’s Executive Director and Sufyan Sohel, the Deputy Director, were present to honor IQRA’s work creating comprehensive educational materials for Muslim youth. The curriculum is tailored to Muslims in the West and presents information in such a way that Muslim youth in America can relate to it and easily understand it.

Sohel said, “Ahmed and I were happy to be there to support IQRA’s work and vision which provides a great service to the American Muslim community and will benefit generations to come.”

The event’s keynote speaker was Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the New York based Islamic leader and author.
