Join CAIR-Chicago at DePaul for a Panel Discussion on Race and Religion in Academia

depaulThe Center for Interreligious Engagement (CIE) at DePaul University is hosting a panel discussion that will assess how academia shapes discourse race and religion at the Lincoln Park Campus. To what degree have modern discourses on race influenced current approaches to the study of religion?  How have issues of identity changed the way religion is taught in the classroom? How do modern scholars of religion interpret history in light of current approaches to issues associated with identity?

Come and participate in a lively panel discussion among three members of the DePaul’s Department of Religious Studies, and help us navigate these questions.  Food will be served!
