CAIR-Chicago Joins Interfaith Celebration- "Sounds of Faith": November 15, 2009

sounds.of.faithYou are most warmly invited to Rockefeller Memorial Chapel for Sounds of Faith – Chicago, an exploration of sacred sound in Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, performed by leading community practitioners.

Enjoy a tapestry of sound drawn from the rich liturgical and cultural traditions of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity.  This event represents a partnership between Rockefeller Chapel and Harran Productions Foundation.

WHAT: Sounds of Faith - Chicago WHEN: Sunday, November 15th from  5:00 PM - 6:45 PM WHERE: Rockefeller Chapel, 1156 East 59th Street, Chicago IL 60637 WHO: Introduced by journalist Bill Kurtis and producer Shakeela Hassan.

Performed by Cantors Alberto Mizrahi and Deborah Bard, Amir Koushkani, the Salem Baptist Choir with soloist Angela Spivey and the Rockefeller Chapel Choir with University Organist Thomas Weisflog and soloist Andrew Schultze.

Please note: The event will be filmed for an ongoing documentary series, Sounds of Faith.
