Arun Kundnani Discusses "The Muslims Are Coming" at CAIR-Chicago

This past Friday on June 27, Arun Kundnani, author of The Muslims Are Coming!: Islamophobia, Extremism, and the Domestic War on Terror visited CAIR-Chicago to discuss his latest book. The panel was hosted by Leila Taha as he talked about the language of radicalism and extremism in today’s society and how it affects the lives of Muslims. Kundnani also touched upon how they are seen through the eyes of the government, and the many cases of the innocent lives of Muslims who are constantly targeted. He also discussed how the US surveillances terrorists. The informative discussion was followed up by questions by the audience. Leila Taha summed up the event as "... an important event especially for the law clerks because it's relevant to the work we do and I'm looking forward to more events."
