Welcome Summer Interns!

Celebrating the tenth year of its internship program, CAIR-Chicago welcomes its Summer 2015 interns! CAIR values cultivating young minds and engaging students in civil rights issues, either working as Civil Rights, Communication, Operations, Government Affairs, or Outreach interns. This summer's class consists of around thirty interns and volunteers, and CAIR-Chicago looks forward to the valuable contributions and ideas each of them will bring. The intern orientation was kicked off by introducing the interns to the staff, an overview of the important work CAIR does, and familiarizing them with the various departments of CAIR-Chicago. Interns are working closely with staff, and continue to learn what it takes to fight injustice and defend our rights.

“In a short amount of time I’ve learned so much, and it’s really fun coming to work with people who are motivated about fighting for equality.” Mary Koptik, Communications Intern
