Donate School Supplies to Refugees in Chicago

CAIR-Chicago is proud of the work we do helping refugees gain asylum through our Asylum Project, as well our continuing work to be a vital asset for Muslim Americans experiencing significant delays and challenges in being naturalized as U.S. Citizens. RefugeeOne, an organization creating opportunity for refugees fleeing war, terror, and persecution to build new lives of safety, dignity, and self-reliance, has often been a valuable partner in insuring our clients transition safely into life in Chicago. RefugeeOne serves many Iraqi and Syrian refugees fleeing violence in the Middle East.

This summer has seen many new arrivals and RefugeeOne’s annual school supply collection has been extended through September.

For many refugee children, this will be their first time attending school. Having the right school supplies is the first step to doing well so CAIR-Chicago encourages the community to assist by donating backpacks and other school supplies.

Drop off backpacks through September at RefugeeOne, 4753 N. Broadway Suite 401, during office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) or at CAIR-Chicago, 17 N State St., Suite 1500, during office hours (Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm).
