Ahmed Rehab Speaks at Universal School

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director visited the Universal School last week to speak to Muslim Youth at an important time in both their lives, but also the national political atmosphere. With rising Islamophia and xenophobic sentiment in the mainstream, and unchecked claims and exaggerations often present in the media, Ahmed sought to assure Chicago's Muslim youth that their rights are being safeguarded. He urged students and teachers to maintain ties with their local community, to keep faith in their leaders and representatives, and, most importantly, to stay focused and motivated in their studies, in order to further the already well-established American Muslim Community and contribute positively to their community and nation.
