IFN to Partner with CAIR-Chicago on Local Project

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director, Ahmed Rehab, delivered both Khutbas at the Islamic Foundation North Masjid.Rehab also keynoted the evening community event for the launch of the IFN Islamophobia project, a local community initiative in Libertyville, IL partnering with CAIR-Chicago. Rehab explained the origins, nature, machinations, and consequences of Islamophobia in the United States, and discussed ways to help combat it. IFN’s executive board led by Dr. Vaseem Iftikhar devised a local plan of engagement and education to help stem the tide of hate and misunderstanding locally. IFN and CAIR-Chicago agreed on ways to partner together to maximize the capacity of both organizations.
