John Marshall's Human Rights for Syrians Initiative

Many Syrian refugees need legal help -- and The John Marshall Law School has figured out a way how. With a new initiative that will provide legal services to refugees, the law school is working to raise $100,000 to protect refugees' human rights.

The task force will provide a centralized hub of information and resources for refugees already in Illinois and those planning to come. Specific resources include networks of attorneys, advocates, and service providers to help represent Syrian refugees and manage their social services cases.

Interested in helping out? You can aid the Human Rights for Syrian Initiative (HRSI) by providing legal representation if you're a pro bono attorney, connecting with Syrian refugees in your own community, volunteering your time, and/or donating.
