Empowering Ourselves: Strengthening our South Asian Voice
April 1, 2006

Session #1: Learn about how non-profit organizations can be involved in nonpartisan voter registration, political empowerment, and lobbying efforts on issues that affect the South Asian Community while complying with legal obligations and standards. The discussion will also provide information about how organizations can effectively exert a voice in the political and civic landscape. We encourage board members, executive directors, management staff, advocates, and volunteer organizations to attend this event.

Who: Non-Profit Organizations with or without 501c3 status and Volunteer Groups
