CAIR-Chicago Sponsors Local Blood Drive
July 12th, 2007

As a part of a nationwide summer-long campaign, Muslims Care, CAIR-Chicago partnered with LifeSource to co-sponsor a local blood drive at the Downtown Islamic Center. LifeSource was able to collect 12 units of blood, yielding enough red blood cells, platelets, and plasma to save 36 lives.

CAIR-Chicago would like to thank all the donors who made this event a success. CAIR-Chicago would also like to thank LifeSource, the Downtown Islamic Center and the Compassionate Care Network for making this event possible.
