CAIR-Chicago Co-Hosts Successful David
Cole Lecture

October 17, 2007

This past Tuesday CAIR-Chicago co-hosted a successful lecture by David Cole to coincide with the fall release of his newest book "Less Safe, Less Free: Why America is Losing the War on Terror." Over 100 students, faculty, and community members packed the hall to hear Cole discuss issues including the grave constitutional challenges facing the U.S.

Cole is a professor of law at Georgetown University, the legal affairs correspondent for The Nation, and the author, most recently, of the American Book Award–winning "Enemy Aliens."
