Your editorial, "The burquini ban" (Aug. 22), concerning a Muslim woman in France being turned away from a swimming pool because she was wearing a burquini, Muslim swimwear that covers everything except hands, feet and face, was against the ban.
I just wanted to say you got this one completely wrong. When a Western secular woman visits a Muslim country, she abides by its laws in wearing a scarf over her head.
Why can't a Muslim woman abide by ours?
