Civil Rights Director Represents Muslim Man at Appointment with USCIS

Civil Rights Director Christina Abraham represented a Muslim man at an Infopass appointment with the Unites States Citizenship and Immigration Services regarding his citizenship delay case. The man originally applied for his citizenship in 2004. He passed his exam and interview in 2005. His approval has been pending a background check since. CAIR-Chicago will continue to represent individuals experiencing unnecessary delays in obtaining citizenship.
