CAIR-Chicago Contacts School's Administration, Committee to Address Issue is Formed
October 7, 2005
After contacting CAIR-Chicago, several Muslim medical students who had been harassed repeatedly by a colleague finally have the resolution they have been seeking. The colleague would take every opportunity in class and outside to make vulgar and offensive comments about Islam, the Prophet Muhammed, and Muslims. The colleague would also make frequent comments such as, “Muslims are terrorists, Muhammed himself was a terrorist.”
The students had approached the school’s administration about the issue, but had been told they can do nothing about the situation. After CAIR-Chicago contacted the school’s administration about the issue, a committee was formed to address the matter.
