CAIR-Chicago Co-Sponsors Cafe Finjan
April 4, 2006
CAIR-Chicago is currently in the planning process of its third Cafe Finjan event. Cafe Finjan is a series of interfaith arts exchanges, begun in 2004 by the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs (JCUA) as part of its Jewish-Muslim Community-Building Initiative.
The series creates spaces for Chicagoland Jews, Muslims, and others of diverse backgrounds to come together and give voice to their identity and experience as part of a larger community. Members from AMAL, JCUA, and CAIR-Chicago met to discuss the details of this upcoming event.
