A complaint filed by CAIR-Chicago on behalf of the 12-year-old victim alleges that the teacher used him as an example of a terrorist during a class lecture. The victim began to experience intimidation and isolation from peers at school after the incident. Complaints were made to school administration; an investigator came to the school and found the allegations to be true. The teacher was moved to another grade level but is still believed to be teaching at the school.
