But it was his character and integrity that made him an inspiration to civil rights activists across the nation. Dr. Abdelhaleem Ashqar’s sentencing trial is scheduled to continue on November 21, 2007 at 8:30 a.m.

Dr. Abdelhaleem Ashqar, co-defendant in the case of United States v. Salah, will be sentenced this Thursday, November 8, 2007.
