CAIR-Chicago is teaming up with the Council for the Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP) and the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago (ARCGC) for a charitable blood drive.

CAIR-Chicago has teamed up with the Muslim Womens’ Alliance and the Inner-city Muslim Action Network (IMAN) to participate in the 2009 March for Babies walk.

For the second time this year, selfless donors from a variety of backgrounds gathered in the Loop to give their blood to people who need it during a recent American Red Cross of Greater Chicago blood drive. The drive, sponsored by CAIR-Chicago and the United Muslims Moving Ahead (UMMA) of DePaul University, was held on Thursday, October 16, 2008.

CAIR-Chicago recently co-sponsored its fourth blood drive alongside the Compassionate Network and the Inner City Muslim Network.

On Thursday, July 17, the Chicago office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago), in cooperation with other organizations, will co-sponsor its fourth biannual blood drive at the Downtown Islamic Center in Chicago, Ill.

CAIR-Chicago is taking part in a summer-long campaign called MuslIms Care initiated by CAIR-National, to promote community service in the Muslim community. A theme is selected for each month (June-August). June is Health Awareness Month.
