The Saturday Rally & March is in downtown Chicago at 11am! Come early due to crowds. Bring your water, dress comfortably, and let’s tell the White House administration #EndDetentions #EndDeportations #DefundICE #NoMuslimBanEver

We have amazing speakers and entertainment (CAIR-Chicago’s Executive Director will join 11 other diverse speakers, emceed by CAIR-Chicago board member Ahlam Jbarra & Oscar Chacon).

There will be pre-printed signs available to the first 1000 attendees this Saturday, however, there's nothing that compares to your hand drawn signs made from the heart

This is the time to stand up against bigoted, racist and hateful policies such as family separation and the #MuslimBan.

Note:

Arrive early. Tomorrow will be HOT, please take precautions. It's important to arrive already HYDRATED and bring water to HYDRATE during the event. WATER, WATER, and more WATER. Wear light weight, loose fitting clothes. (White is the color encouraged to wear for the national march but some orgs are wearing specific colors to show unity.) If you have a bandana you can tie ice packs around your neck or put them under your hat. Wear a light-colored, wide brim hat. Slather on the sunscreen and bring with you to reapply. Consider bringing a cooler with ice and/or bring a frozen bottle of water that will melt during the day.

The message of the march will show that the city of Chicago is united in welcoming immigrants, refugees, asylum-seekers because our nation has always been made stronger and better by those who come here from other countries.

See you there.
