Voter Registration Deadline 2/21 and Early Voting Begins 2/27

Voter Registration Deadline Is this Tuesday, February 21, 2006 Are you a U.S. citizen over the age of 18 and have not registered to vote? The deadline to vote in the Illinois Primary Elections is fast approaching. In fact, the last day to register is Tuesday, February 21. The primaries, to be held Tuesday, March 21, 2006 determine who will run in the November 2006 general elections. Races for local offices will also take place in March.

The CAIR-Chicago team will be registering voters this Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, during Friday Prayers. If you have not already done so, come and register to vote.

Early Voting Begins February 27, 2006

Already registered but don’t think you can vote on March 21st? You can vote early this year! Early Voting begins Monday, February 27, 2006 and continues through Thursday, March 17, 2006. Polls will be open 7 days a week. Vote today and make a difference!
