CAIR-Chicago Appeals Administrative Ruling
CAIR-Chicago's Civil Rights Extern Amy Chiang, under the supervision of Attorney Rima Kapitan, filed a substantive appeal on the corrected case concerning a man pulled over for an alleged traffic violation and later experiencing derogatory comments from officers at the police station. This case was corrected after an appeal last week by CAIR-Chicago to address an error committed by a previous judge in entering the wrong judgment in the case.
Through this appeal, CAIR-Chicago has asked the court for a new trial based on the inconsistencies in the case.
