Minnesota State University Moorhead will host a Muslim activist to speak on "9/11 and American-Islamic Relations." Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Chicago Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, will speak at 8 p.m. Tuesday in MSUM's Comstock Memorial Union ballroom.

Rehab has also worked as a freelance speaker, writer and activist in the fields of interfaith collaboration, education and community outreach.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, to a chemical engineer and a Russian interpreter, Rehab grew up between Cairo and Manchester, England. He moved to the U.S. in 1992.
