CAIR-Chicago Sponsors Youth Event for Children of Domestic Violence Homes: Volunteers Needed
As part of the Muslims Care project, CAIR-Chicago is collaborating with a domestic violence shelter in Lakeview to spend an afternoon with children of domestic violence homes. Come join CAIR-Chicago and members of a Lakeview domestic violence shelter for an afternoon of crafts and fun! When: August 19, 2007; 12:45pm - 3:15pm

Details: Volunteers are expected to arrive no later than 12:45pm to receive a brief training. Volunteers will then spend the rest of the afternoon interacting with children of domestic violence homes and engaging them in different games and crafts.
