CAIR-Chicago Civil Rights Director Represents Muslim Man at Status Hearing for Employment Discrimination Case

CAIR-Chicago Civil Rights Director Christina Abraham appeared for a status hearing on behalf of a Muslim man who experienced discrimination at his place of employment. The man worked for a county sheriff’s department as a corrections officer, but was subjected to frequent harassment by fellow employees. The man’s supervisors also failed to put a stop to the harassment. CAIR-Chicago will continue to represent the man until a resolution can be reached with the sheriff’s department.
