CAIR-Chicago Civil Rights Director Christina Abraham is headed to the Philippines this January as a part of a delegation sponsored by the state department. The delegates were chosen for their respective expertise in methods for constructive civic engagement. Abraham is traveling to Manila and Sebu for the conference and will be presenting civil rights workshops based upon CAIR-Chicago’s work on behalf of victims of discrimination.

The conference will take place January 2-13, 2009.
