Ahmed Rehab to speak on Islamophobia at AIC
CAIR-Chicago's Executive Director, Ahmed Rehab, will be included as part of a panel to discuss religious bigotry at the American Islamic College. The event is titled, "Facing Religious Intolerance: Islamophobia in 21st Century America," and will include community and religious leaders as well as members from various interfaith and interethnic communities. The event hopes to discuss the underlying convoluted makeup of religious bigotry today, specifically against Islam, and the ways in which it impacts the larger society in the socio-political arena.
