CAIR-Chicago Executive Director moderates The Square (Al Midan) screening

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab moderated the Q & A following the screening of the Oscar-nominated film The Square (Al Midan). Egyptians Abroad for Development (EAD) advertised various Egyptian snacks to be served at the screening and announced Friday morning that the screening was sold out. After the film was screened, Director Jehane Noujaim and producer Karim Amer Skyped in from New York for an audience Q & A session which was moderated by CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab. Noujaim and Amer answered questions about the use of music and chants in the film, how the film has been perceived by various groups both in the US and abroad, and their own personal views on the Egyptian revolution.
