The Indian American Bar Association and the Muslim Bar Association of Chicago invites you to join a diverse group of attorneys, community leaders, activists and other professionals for an interactive discussion on civil rights issues the South Asian American community faces today.
Recent national headline events, such as the Purvi Patel prosecution, the Adnan Syed appeal and the tragic attack on Sureshbhai Patel have caught the attention of South Asian Americans across the country. These events have raised several questions worthy of discussion, and we want to hear your thoughts and ideas on combating these issues that affect us, our families and friends across the United States.
Join us and participate in a polite and thoughtful discussion on what can we do to make our voices heard.
