Rabya Khan Speaks on Religious Accommodation Panel

Staff Attorney Rabya Khan spoke on Religious Accommodation Panel at Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Training. On August 6, 2015, Staff Attorney Rabya Khan participated in a panel discussion with attorney Alisa B. Arnoff, of Scalambrino & Arnoff, LLP and EEOC Trial Attorney Aaron DeCamp on “Accommodating Employees’ Religious Beliefs” as part of the EEOC’s Training Institute’s Technical Assistance Program Seminar (TAPS). The panels was part of the annual EEOC TAPS training provided to Chicago area employers. Panelists discussed recommendations for employers following the Supreme Court’s June 1, 2015 decision in the EEOC v. Abercrombie & Fitch case, and Staff Attorney Rabya also provided a demonstration of different styles of hijab, the Muslim woman religious head covering.
