Welcome New Staff Members!

CAIR-Chicago welcomes our new staff, Mona and Emma!

Mona Balla is the new CAIR-Chicago Operations Coordinator. A recent graduate of DePaul’s Master of Public Policy program, Mona has previously worked in corporate litigation and the judicial system. At DePaul, Mona's independent research focused on how international remittances effect migrant families.

Emma Melton is the new CAIR-Chicago Staff Attorney. Emma graduated from DePaul University College of Law where she obtained a Certificate in Public Interest Law, and has worked in various non-profit organizations throughout Chicago. Most recently, Emma spent three years at Beyond Legal Aid where she practiced immigration, employment, housing and criminal records law.
