Executive Director Ahmed Rehab Leds Eid Prayers

The Al Azhar Foundation held this year's Eid prayers, led by Ahmed Rehab, the esteemed Executive Director of CAIR-Chicago. The community in attendance greatly appreciated his guidance and leadership. Eid al-Adha is an important Islamic holiday commemorating Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah's command. Muslims worldwide celebrate the "Festival of Sacrifice" by praying, feasting, and offering an animal, usually a sheep or goat. It is one of the two most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar and falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the twelfth and final month. CAIR-Chicago wishes to thank Ahmed Rehab for his remarkable leadership during the Eid prayers. His words were inspiring and uplifting, inspiring us all to seek spiritual growth and understanding. His unwavering dedication and commitment to our community are commendable, and his profound prayers undoubtedly touched the hearts of all those present. Thank you, Ahmed, for your invaluable contributions to strengthening our connection with the divine.
