In The Loop: Prophet Cartoon Controversy Addressed at John Marshall

During an event co-sponsored by the Muslim Law Student Association, the Christian Legal Society and the Decalogue Society at John Marshall, Ahmed Rehab (center), communications director of the Council on American Islamic Relations, and John Marshall Professor Michael Seng (fourth from left) addressed the logical and legal aspects of the recent controversy of the publication of 12 cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed by a Danish paper. They also discussed why the issue is so controversial and has led to violence in many parts of the world. Welcoming the guest speakers are students (from left) Michael Abramson, of the Christian Legal Society; James Hausler of the Decalogue Society and Fadi Rafati of the Muslim Law Student Association, who moderated the event.
