Citizenship Delay Status Hearing on an Individual Case

CAIR-Chicago’s Attorney Heena Musabji attended a status hearing for an individual Citizenship Delay Complaint Case. The case involves a married couple who completed all the prerequisites for U.S. Naturalization, such as their application and interview, in 2004. Since then, the couple had been awaiting their oath ceremony. The status hearing granted an update interview to the couple, allowing USCIS to review and subsequently advance their application for naturalization towards the oath ceremony.

The update interview is scheduled for October 27th, 2006.
