Second Status Hearing for Citizenship Delay Case

CAIR-Chicago attorney Heena Musabji represented a citizenship delay client at his second status hearing at the Dirksen Federal Building. The Government was still uncertain about when his application would be adjudicated. Consequently, the Judge approved Musabji’s request and issued a 30-day order for USCIS to make a decision about the clients pending citizenship application. The next status hearing is scheduled for December. CAIR-Chicago will continue to provide updates on the status of Citizenship Delay Project cases.
